About the Retreat House:
Alaró Retreat House - Mallorca, Spain
During our retreat, we will stay in this imposing and traditional Mallorcan manor, which belonged to the descendants of the Viscount of Bearn. For centuries, the house, the family, the neighboring estates and the city have thrived thanks to the vineyards and the high quality olive groves nestled in the hilly terrain around Alaró.
This majestic house is located in the picturesque village of Alaro, it has been carefully maintained and recently refurbished.
Alaró is located in the heart of the island of Mallorca, just 30 minutes drive from Palma airport and lies at the foot of the Tramuntana mountain range, which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2011 and is a perfect region for walking, cycling or other sports outdoors.
This beautiful retreat is only a minute's walk from the village's main square with several restaurants and bakery and a busy market every Saturday morning. However, this heavenly hideaway will provide us with privacy and tranquility during our stay.
